Krewella – Alive (TJR’s Bouncy Version)

I am sure by now everyone knows this track. Alive by Krewella is easily on of the most popular songs out there right now and continues to get some incredible remixes by some big name DJ’s, most notably Hardwell. Well I am here to bring you probably the best remix yet, which is Alive remixed by TJR. TJR is an american born producer who is known for his funky sound and big bass beats. If you don’t know who TJR is, you definitely know his track called Ode to Oi, which is an absolutely massive track that has been played out by the best DJ’s in the world. This track takes the opening intro of Alive and TJR breaks the drop into his signature funky sound. This entire track just works well and he like remixing this song so much he made 2 versions, one called the bouncy version the other called the booty bass version. Both of these tracks are absolutely absurd and they are free to download so don’t hesitate on this one.

Bassjackers – Crackin

Image

Bassjackers is saluting their fans with this brand new free track.  It’s crack, I promise.  After 100K fans on FaceBook it’s only proper that they give their fans what they want and that’s free music.  Two completely different drops, one is that the 1:00 mark and the second comes at 2:45.  For a free track, it’s a banger.  I hope you guys like it as much as I do.  I heard they destroyed New York City last night on Governors Island with trap and filthy drops.  They’re on fire.  Keep a look out for more tracks coming out because I know they’ve got a lot.  Like them on FaceBook for this track.

Enjoy, Russ

J3N5ON Feat Walker & Daniels – Festival

Holy Shit!!! The only words that came to mind when I heard this absolutely monstrous electro banger.  I haven’t really heard of any of these guys before, nor have I heard of this track.  After  long nights of searching for music, I finally came across this track, which sounds too similarly to Ummet Ozcan’s “The Box”, then you will easily love this track.  Although they might sound too alike, I can’t get enough of the sound.  I’m sure you guys will love this track if you like electro house.

Enjoy, Russ

Gareth Emery feat. Krewella – Lights & Thunder

Going back through EDC sets, you will never know what you are going to find. With my little obsession with Gareth Emery this morning, I casually stumbled upon this new unreleased track he has coming out with Krewella called Lights & Thunder. Gareth casually threw it into his set and only once the track was finished did he inform the crowd it was a new track…thanks Gareth. This track has a great mix of progressive house, electro house, and trance music. The vocals of the Krewella girls mixed with the remarkable DJ skills of Gareth Emery helps create this beautiful track.  When this track is set to be released I am not sure, but right now we have a solid 4 minute preview to the song that I think you all will really enjoy. This song is going to massive when it drops, so get it here first!

Gareth Emery feat Christina Novelli – Concrete Angel (Original Mix)

In today’s trance world you have one name that people seem to know and that is Armin Van Buuren, but when you actually dive into the world of trance music there truly is so much more behind it then just that one name. One of my favorite trance producers easily has to be Gareth Emery, the English born producer has been producing for years now and is truly incredible at what he does. When his name came up on the EDC NYC lineup back in mid-May, I knew he was someone I had to see. Concrete Angel is hands down my favorite track by Gareth Emery, not only because of the track, but the lyrics are truly incredible and so is the vocalist Christina Novelli. This song is euphoric I think and always puts me in a good mood. So for all of you having a case of the Tuesday’s and or planning a big Tuesday night out, definitely throw this track on the play list you can’t go wrong.

Tiësto & MOTi – Back To The Acid

Never doubt Tiesto and never doubt the music he makes. Tiesto in his recent past has started to develop a more progressive house feel, but right when you think Tiesto will stick to one genre he bounces right back gives you something totally unexpected. This track called Back To Acid is exactly that. I posted the preview to this track a few weeks ago, but the full version has finally dropped and it is absolutely filthy. This track pays tribute to the acid house years of dance music and along with MOTi, Tiesto pays great tribute to those years. This track is different and will have you grooving the entire time its playing. Check out the full version of Back To Acid below, hope you guys like it!

Felix Cartal & Autoerotique – The Alarm (Charlie Darker Remix)

Image

Several months later, this track has finally released!  One of the notorious drops of Hardwell’s Ultra Music Festival set was thrown into a mash-up involving his single, Encoded.  This drop incorporates a hard electro drop with monster bass and and upbeat dutch sound.  This remix just released a couple days ago and is already 26 in the electro house top 100 on beatport.  I’m sure if you’ve all heard Hardwell’s UMF Miami set, this is one of those tracks that stuck out to you.  I’m anxiously waiting for more of his UMF tracks to be released including a Hardwell and MAKJ collab and a new W&W track.  Stay tuned and play this track out for now.

Enjoy, Russ
